With a master’s degree in cybersecurity and a bachelor’s degree in applied business management, he excels in steering companies toward the best technological solutions to reduce security risks. Boasting over thirty years of experience that spans operational and leadership roles, David brings a versatile and pragmatic approach to the table. His expertise encompasses cybersecurity and infrastructure, with proficiency in both on-premises and cloud environments.

David’s professional journey began with an eight-year stint in the United States Air Force, where he served as a Computer Technician and Network Administrator until receiving an Honorable Discharge. He then honed his skills as a Network Engineer and Architect, gaining deep insights into the foundational principles of cybersecurity, which paved the way for his ascent to leadership positions within global teams across North America, Europe, and Asia Pacific. During his impressive career, he notably led the development of a comprehensive global security strategy for a multi-billion-dollar corporation, successfully protecting its assets.

David is also a valued member of the Tech Advisory Board for Grand Canyon University, where he plays a pivotal role in developing the IT Management and Security curriculum, ensuring it remains relevant to the demands of the industry.

Shyam brings to the role over 25 plus years of financial management experience. Prior to joining Genius Cyber Security, Shyam served as Chief Financial Officer for Navitas Business Consulting, Controller for League of Conservation Voters. He has held a number of additional senior level roles at fortune 500 companies in the Washington, D.C. area. In addition, he owns and operates several businesses.

Shyam is an alumnus of the University of Maryland, holding a bachelor’s degree in Finance and Accounting. His academic prowess is complemented by his professional accreditation as a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
